Thereafter, technology has evolved over the years and has bridged the world into one global network. Originally, in 1937 the Walkie Talkie was invented by Canadian Donald Hings. 

Additionally, communication seemed to be an innovative front for Canada as the formerly popular smartphone brand, Blackberry was developed by the Canadian company, Research In Motion (RIM).
